On Sunday, August 3, 2008, between 2:01am and 7:00am, our primary datacenter will be performing a network upgrade. Our servers and your websites will not be directly affected. They are only working on the surrounding networks. However, as with all maintenance plans, there is always the chance something goes wrong so I would not be surprised to see intermittent network outages to our websites during that maintenance window.
We do not have any control over the datacenter's maintenance plan but we will monitor the situation and react accordingly. If you have any questions, please let us know. We always love to hear from you.
Post-Maintenance Update:
The network administrators did a great job and minimized the network downtime to only fifteen minutes: from 4:45am to 5:00am.
