Franklin County is located in Northeast Georgia in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Its border with South Carolina is on Lake Hartwell. The county has received the designation of being an All-Georgia Community, an honor awarded to the citizens of Franklin County by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. The Chamber of Commerce is located in Carnesville, Georgia.
The Franklin County Chamber needed a website they could easily maintain so they could keep their members informed of chamber information. Their current site was cumbersome to maintain, and, therefore, was often out of date. Several people on the Board of Directors knew Cynthia MacDonald with AthensGuy.com, so they gave us a call to see if we could help.
Their new website now features the AthensGuy.com WebMaster portal to allow the chamber keep the site updated with current information. Plus, the new site has a special feature for their members. The new online member directory allows members to create a user account that gives them the ability to update their own listing on the site!
